Education

To work as an auto glass installer, you must:
  • have a high school diploma or GED;
  • complete a formal training program; and
  • complete on-the-job training.
  • Hours

  • Usually work 40 hours per week.
  • Generally work a set schedule.

  • Work both indoors and outdoors
  • Often work in mobile installation units
